VenueVue CS Lighting Bridge
Networked lighting control for venues. Compatible with DALI systems.
The VenueVue CS Lighting Bridge brings your venue’s house lighting into the VenueVue CS platform. It connects over a single PoE network cable and controls up to four independent lighting buses of IEC 62386 (DALI) control gear, so front of house, stage, foyer and back of house circuits can all be driven from one compact device.
Why it fits your venue
One cable, four lighting buses. Power and data arrive over a single PoE Ethernet connection. Each bridge drives up to 4 lighting buses with up to 64 fixtures per bus, for a total of 256 individually addressable fixtures.
Works with the lighting you already have. The bridge interoperates with control gear built to IEC 62386, the international standard commonly known as DALI. It is compatible with DALI and DALI-2 certified drivers, ballasts and LED gear from any manufacturer, including tunable white and colour fixtures that support device type 8 (DT8).
Commission from a browser. A built-in web interface handles discovery, addressing, grouping, scene programming and live control. Automated bus scanning and address assignment mean new installations come online quickly, and a fixture replacement tool re-addresses a swapped driver without re-commissioning the bus.
Built for unattended operation. The bridge is designed to run for years in a comms cupboard. A hardware watchdog and layered self-recovery restore service automatically after faults or power loss, and every boot is classified and reported so the platform knows the difference between a planned restart and a genuine problem.
Diagnostics without a site visit. Persistent on-device logging captures the full console history through faults and reboots. Logs, health data and even remote diagnostics are available over the network, and firmware updates are delivered over the air.
VenueVue CS platform integration
The bridge is a native VenueVue CS device. Every fixture and bus appears as a control point in the platform, ready for schedules, scenes, incidents and operator control alongside your video, audio and building systems. Abnormal reboots and offline events raise incidents automatically, with planned maintenance filtered out so your team only sees what matters.
Open WebSocket and REST APIs (JSON) are also available for third-party integration.
